The Kansas City Chiefs is a team with a deep history in the NFL. They rose to prominence by becoming one of the first AFL teams to defeat an NFL team in Super Bowl IV. Since then, the KC Chiefs have had a few memorable years, but have not enjoyed the level of success as they did early in their inception. Today, the Chiefs hope to rebuild into one of the league's premier teams. They hope to do so by building around young QB Matt Cassel and other young talent taken through the draft. Despite the lack of success over the years, Arrowhead Stadium is notorious for being one of the toughest venues for road teams to play at. Chiefs fans love their team and are among the most vociferous in the NFL.
